The Golden Triangle is one of the most well known destinations for visitors to India. The three cities that form the Golden Triangle are Delhi, Agra and Jaipur.
Delhi is the seat of power of modern India (including the British Raj and previously, the Mughals). Agra was one of the important and sustained seats of Power for the Mughals. And Jaipur represents diplomacy at its best as the Rajput Kings dealt their hand deftly with the rulers of India for more than 400 years for the protection and betterment of their subjects.
British/Gothic, Mughal/Islamic and Hindu architecture is prominently on display and remarkable signs of integration can be seen throughout.
