Poem: Bubbles

The champagne bottled popped
As earth made its turn at last
Cheers rang all around
And bubbles streamed in every glass

Each bubble occupied
By a person inside!
Shielding herself from the rest
Of noise, germs and the hoi polloi ...

Those bubbles forming a foam
Riding a massive wave
As it crests and crashes
In an endless rhythm of tides

Many tides and many earths
Themselves inside a bubble
Infinite bubbles, in a cosmic multiverse
Beyond the reach of time

Nice ditty - technical and poetic at the same time. I like the last line especially.
