Governors across the US get together twice a year, to discuss key issues that they are faced with in their respective states and share what is working and what is not.
They met these past few days in Des Moines, Iowa for their summer meeting. This year top of mind for the Governors were the issues of opioid addiction and Cyber Security.
I was delighted to represent my company at the NGA to discuss with the Governors the opportunities they had to create jobs and grow their respective economies by focusing on the 'Silver Economy,' - i.e. those companies that are creating products and services that are focused on the 60+ population.
They were very engaged - and it was a lot of fun having a give and take with the Governors on this topic.
Hope you enjoy a few photos from this visit.
