Poem: Space

A sea of people
everywhere
Not a patch
to repair

Commuters and tourists
go hither and thither
Hawkers tripping over
One another

Taxis plunging recklessly
for a pickup
Double parked vehicles causing havoc

Make no eye contact
beware!
Don't fumble around
for your fare

Congregate, transact
make haste
Human connections
lay awaste

Overwhelmed by the
rat race
You build walls to create
psychic space
